Nice work by Epting. Looking forward to seeing Ben get a spotlight issue.
"...Doom's enemies have not the mettle to challenge him host to host, tooth to nail... As economic and military options fail them, they resort to simple rudeness."
Reed looks like hes is 50 and Sue looks like she is 20. I know he's a fair bit older but...ugh.
I don't like the idea of a Thing-less Marvel U, but I'm on for the ride. Steve Epting's art is gorgeous.
I've wanted to mention this before - did Mr. Fantastic use a shrink ray on Dragon Man? He used to be gigantic.
I seriously miss Captain Mar-Vell.
Great looking artwork on Thing and the background, but hideous faces on Reed, Sue and especially Johnny.
I Will Raise my Throne above the Stars of your Gods
Forget Peter and MJ's marriage, Quesada should have issued a permanent moratorium on "Ben gets cured only to be later sacrifice his humanity and become the Thing for the good of his friends/family/world/universe" stories. There's no drama in in anymore. Either give him the power to change back and forth permanently or leave it alone.
This preview makes me sad because Epting is not drawing Cap.![]()
Top 10: Hawkguy, GIJoe Cobra, The Massive, Daredevil, Wonder Woman, Fury MAX, The Black Beetle, Batman, Winter Soldier, Suicide Squad, and The Activity.
Gonna have to pick this up!

This is why I hate shared Marvel universe continuity.
A writer decides to mess up a favorite character of mine in one given title that I don't read, which is cool, because I don't read it. But then that character has to leave one of my favorite titles, New Avengers, because of it. This is what sucks. Thing finally gets to be a regular in an Avengers title, and because of F4 messing him up, he has to leave the Avengers because of it. This is why I hate Marvel and DC's shared universe continuity crap. It has ruined many of my favorite Marvel and DC titles over the years. Why can't each comic book be self contained? Much more accessible, and less complicated for the creators as well. They can tell much better stories in self contained comic books.
Lol, fanboy rant over with.![]()
Who says Thing will be absent from New Avengers? The transformation only lasts what, a week? Has it been confirmed somewhere that Ben will die in the "Three" story?

I'll bet you a nickel that if he doesn't croak, Ben stays in the New Avengers for at least another year.

The Future Foundation are appearing within this Issue, so this should be interesting when Ben takes the Cure......
