Yeah, that was precisely my first thought. Interested to see where they go with this.

Well, they're both cribbing off the pulp feel of The Shadow. Same twin colt 45's and everything. But yeah, I immediately thought Brubaker was working on a marvel villains book.

The first book was absolutely fantastic - write down to the back up features on pulps - including the fake one about the "Zepplin" stories.

Azzarello is definitely going to shoot some life into Doc Savage but the man who was born to write that book is Brubaker.

I'm all in for this.

The comic about the main character who's a rapist is back. I won't be reading this.

Come on people respect alittle you pulp hero,history of that culture. Shadow is a prototype for many Batman like superheroes.

Brubaker has put articles about The Shadow in the letter pages so this is not about for just another marvel supervillain. Its an homage !

I saw The Shadow first and afterwards thought The Hood was not as original creation by BKV as i thought....
