Marvel Comics has released an advance look at "Loki" #1, by Roberto Aguirre-Sacas and Sebastian Fiumara with covers by Fiumara and Travel Foreman. Thor's half-brother connives his way into stores on October 20.

why don't they repackage all the recent retellings of this story and sell it for cheaper?
I'm sure the big size will attract non-comic book fans.

I'm a big fan of Fiumara's, so this looks great to me. However, what I've read of Aguirre-Sacasa (Marvel Knights: 4) I wasn't too big a fan of, so I'm also relatively tepid about this book, along with the $3.99 price tag.
