Oh, right! Miss Kitka! Fair enough.

That reminds me--was the name Selina Kyle ever dropped during the series? Since there were three actresses portraying her, I'm not sure if it was.

Nope. She was only Catwoman, and would occasionally have an alias like Miss Klutz, but never discovered as Selina Kyle.

    Ah. Coolio.

Speaking of cool, a little funny sketch from Stjepan Sejic--the last two ladies being our lady Selina and the one problem with her current get-up:

I love Catwoman, but this book was doing nothing for me. So, I dropped it. Along with Red Hood & The Outlaws.

Speaking of, did anyone else notice she's been back to her zipper problem in this past two issues? Pre-New52, Selina always had her zipper down and goggle up (which I hate), and then... other than the cover of #1 where she's clearly undressing, Selina did good with keeping her zipper up... March gets a break from the interiors... and then forgets completely that he's been keeping it up for the first few issues. Now it's always down again. I know this all sounds idiotic, but it's definitely something I'd notice. Almost like the fact she had a sliver of her neck showing everytime she zipped it all the way up.

Compare #7 and #8 (albeit from Melo):

    #7 #8

    To #9 and #10:

Hmm. It's just really funny to me.

I've thought the same thing, BUT Michelle Pfeiffer's portray had a long-lasting affect on the character post-Batman Returns. They could update the character post-Anne Hathaway. Selina got her own comic series thanks to Michelle, and they even switched the character's hair to blond in the animated series thanks to her. Her entire personality was overhauled too. She finally kicked ass, and was an entire person. Michelle and Burton showed how much could be done with the character.

I think Hathaway will do a fine job. There's not much there to get wrong. She's doing the sultry voice. She's fighting. She's doing the cutesy pie manipulative thing. It's easy. The scene where she's walking through the prison hallway, grabs and inmates arm and does a flip, will make audiences cheer.

I found this very nice Catwoman tribute made by a guy who's nuts about her like i am and has that seduction music from Fright Night (1985) which fits the mood of the character.

Catwoman got a DC Nation Animation Short!

So cute! And love how she's still curvy and sexy in this Shanghai version of her costume!

    Cute Bane reference too ;-)

It's one long "here's how awesome comics aren't" commercial.

Maybe to you, Tickle, but to me it's "the comics are pretty awesome but heres an elseworld's version take on a fun character!" kind of short.

    Different strokes, I guess.

That short was awesome, i loved the style of it all.

Not to mention but Bane kinda resembled Cad Bane from the Clone Wars.

I'll admit it. I'm just burned out on the format. 20 pages of rushed artwork with breadcrumb storytelling.
