As someone who hasn't enjoyed the Legion since Mr. Levitz left the book lo, those many years ago, I'm almost deliriously happy with anticipation for this annual. Long Live the Legion!
I can't wait for the HC edition of Great Darkness coming out, especially since it includes the six months' worth of stuff Levitz wrote before that storyline started. I always thought that LSH made a clearly-defined shift in tone and style from the very first page of Levitz' first issue at the helm (#284, when he assumed control of the plotting as well as scripting duties), and those stories were worthy of reprinting. Giffen's arrival just took everything to the next level...
