I hate the waits and despite this series being okay I do want a new writer on the Ultimates... but I can't say no to Cho art .

The art is great and the story may be improving but for me a 9-10 month wait for 4 issues just doesn't balance that. As I find myself saying a lot lately, the wait times on New Ultimates and X are killing the books before they even get a good start :( Which is a shame because I'm sure if they upped the pace to monthly they would be great sellers! Even Millar has been managing a hefty pace this time around!

I pray for someone like Ellis to inherit new ultimates after this arc... Loeb needs to focus on his new TV responsibilities and let these books go to faster workers.

I enjoyed the heck out of issue #3, so it's safe to say I'm excited for #4!

Haven't we seen this already in Millar/Hitch's run?

I thought to myself the same thing. The answer to the solicit is Cap with a flamethrower and Quicksilver when his sister gets hit by Captain Britain
So...whose neck do I break first?

Yeah but it is very different - Thor wasn't on a crazed rampage then. He hadn't just returned from Hell (or wherever he was) to find the woman he loves has been killed.

Zarda vs Thor would be an interesting battle.......

'Mm,' she agreed. 'He's a little bit dodgy in the same way that rats are a little bit covered in fur."

OK, so they didn't take her down completely - more just distracted her. Not so bad......
