Well, that's a relief. I was afraid there would only be a couple more episodes left. But you can do wonders with 25 episodes. They will bring back Music Meister, I hope?Besides, it would have been silly to cancel such a successful series right away. It appeals not just to kids or toy collectors, but to surprisingly wide demographic. Best Batman series (of its type) in a long time.
I just watched the first part of the Starro story and it was great. I'm not much of a B'wana Beast fan at all, but he worked nicely here. Funny how so many DC characters get killed off in the comics only to shine in cartoons like this later on.
What time does this show air again? I haven't seen it in ages.![]()
In EST it's on at 7pm Fridays - we almost missed this episode because it has been on at 7:30.
Given this interview, it was hilarious to hear a line in the first Starro episode. The heroes change out of their costumes to sneak in, and Booster Gold says "The toy company's not going to like this!"
Great series. Sad to see it's ending, but glad to hear there's 13 more episodes than we were expecting.
My fingers are still crossed for Supergirl to appear.
The Doom Patrol episode is hilarious!
Loved the still frame reenacting the first JLA / Starro cover.
This show certainly puts a lie to the idea of "boring characters". They are just characters that writers haven't written well.
I didn't know this series was ending... was there a reason given? Are ratings bad or is Warners going to just make another Batman animated series to replace this for some random reason? It's such a fun series and even created an Aquaman I was interested in knowing more about and following his adventures, something DC hasn't done in many many years. At least there are a good number of episodes left.
Edited to add: Nevermind, just read an article about the SDCC panel, it's because there is another Batman series coming. Sigh, I wish they could stick with a single show, Brave and the Bold even had the nice bonus of pushing new characters and introducing them to kids and possible new fans. Does this mean we have to deal with establishing all the Batman characters again with the new show? Will it at least be better then the Batman series?

...and very sad, too.
Hope at some point they have the '70s version of the team on the show.
As for the show itself, I really love it. Yes, it doesn't have the Bronze Age Batman that I prefer, but the Caped Crusader here is still fun. Nice seeing all of the old heroes and villains I first read about years ago.
Funny, I was originally put off by the characterization, but the B&B Aquaman has definitely grown on me. No bland King of the Seas here.
Sorry to hear the show will be leaving the airwaves, but at least there will be more Batman in the future.Edited to add: Nevermind, just read an article about the SDCC panel, it's because there is another Batman series coming.
