I was really looking forward to this. Hoping that for once Marvel would be able to compete with DC in the animated arena. However, this toon seems like it is going to be aimed at a much younger audience. While there is nothing wrong with that I was looking forward to a more serious incarnation of the characters.

I wish everyone would reserve judgment until we see an episode. A show can appeal to kids as well as adults. Look at Batman: Brave & The Bold. That show is more kid friendly, and it still is all sorts of awesomeness.

This looks really good. It's got a solid cast, unlike the previous Avengers `toon. And it'll be interesting to see how they use the Hulk in this series.

I do not own a television, but I just want to indicate that I feel very strong and positive emotions toward this program.

I will support it "in spirit."

The first micro-episode called 'Iron Man is Born!' will premiere Wednesday night, 9/22 on Disney XD. The 20 part micro-series will be online at Marvel.com and DisneyXD.com, and then in late October, the 20th I think, the show begins in full on DisneyXD.

The tone is very much like 'Justice League,' a bit looser maybe. More fun. :)

    Thanks,

    Chris

What happens if you don't have DisneyXD? Ah for the days of Fox Kids...

Chris this sounds awesome! I really can't wait for this show, and the comic.

I'd love to see the Crimson Dynamo, and Titanium Man make an appearrance in the show. Man, I can't wait to see all of the villains that make it into the show.

    Awesome.

I hope this show ends up being as sucessful as JLU and Teen Titans were with DC's audience... when it comes to broadcasting (as far as cartoons go), Marvel doesn't have the best track record, especially when the show is an ongoing series.

But it's supposedly slated for 52 episodes, so IMO that should be more than enough to keep this relevant...

    Can't wait.

Sweet! Will the micro-episodes be original material, or more like clip shows?
