Default It took me a while to get past the title: "Galileo Was Wrong, The Church Was Right"

I'll let their synopsis speak for this amazing event.

    The Idea

Galileo Was Wrong is a detailed and comprehensive treatment of the scientific evidence supporting Geocentrism, the academic belief that the Earth is immobile in the center of the universe. Garnering scientific information from physics, astrophysics, astronomy and other sciences, Galileo Was Wrong shows that the debate between Galileo and the Catholic Church was much more than a difference of opinion about the interpretation of Scripture.

Scientific evidence available to us within the last 100 years that was not available during Galileo's confrontation shows that the Church's position on the immobility of the Earth is not only scientifically supportable, but it is the most stable model of the universe and the one which best answers all the evidence we see in the cosmos.
Seriously, it took me a while to even get past the title, so I was king of astounded when I read the above. If I lived in South Bend and had $50 to blow, I think I might go to this.

Techcitement, the feeling some of us get when we discover some new (or even old and unfamiliar) tech. It’s also the name of a website with reviews and opinions on tech products and solutions, along with stories about how technology affects our every day lives from fitness to politics. Basically, if it's tech-related and excites us, we write about it.

But they're not all morons. Just all the ones that ever speak publicly about anything.

Oh, god, please be serious. Please go to this. Write stuff down. Take pictures. Seriously, a detailed report is now utterly expected.

I kinda always suspected as much. Do they say whether it's a giant elephant or giant space turtle the Earth is resting on?
Trust me. Why would I lie to you?

It's not as bad as Jehovah's who believe Christ has come back already and it was in 1914 and the subsequent result of him leaving was WW1.

I'm going to e-mail to preregister tomorrow morning. I am totally going to this. The only way it could've possibly been better is if Neal Adams would have been involved talking about his New Model of the Universe. I mean, Young Earthers! Cover ups! It's got everything.

    This is my favorite part:

Has modern science led us down the primrose path and convinced us of something that they cannot prove and that is in actuality false? Were the Fathers, the Medievals, our popes and cardinals of the 17th century correct in believing that the Earth, based on a face value reading of Scripture, was standing still in the center of the universe? Come with an open mind and allow these two authors to show you facts and figures that have been hidden from the public for a very long time. This is a page turner that you will find hard to put down, once you get riveted by the astounding material these authors have assembled for you. Prepare yourself, however. Your world will be rocked, literally and figuratively.
    Those last two sentences.

They didn't teach Intelligent Design at my school, so I'm woefully ignorant of the facts!

But the part I have always struggled with is, does the elephant have each foot on a different turtle, or are the turtles stacked?

The Turtles are holding the elephant up, but who's holding the turtles up?
