I just had a horrible image pop in my head of Jaime and Layla in Vegas... getting married... and Rahne gutting one or both of them...
You know I look forward to Peter Davids X-positions the most. Maybe it's because it's the only X-book I still buy.
Still these q & a's really add to the stories and give insight into the characters whilst making me excited for what's to come.
It's criminal that Marvel aren't better utilising his talents across the MU. God what I would give to have a PAD Avengers book. One good reason to bring back the West Coasters in my eyes.
I'm pretty sure I'd rush out and buy an Exiles book that counted both Ruby & Spiderman 2099 amongst its members too.
I'd also like to see the Panthenon return in some form, and Rahne Meet up with Rick Jones again. And hell lets see Havok and Polaris make an appearance too.
I'm still petrified that the person leaving in 213 and the one getting banged up in 215 will be characters I actually care about. PAD knows how to keep me on hooks!
I Will Raise my Throne above the Stars of your Gods
Ugh, I really can't stand to have any of the characters leave the book. Don't do this to me, PAD!![]()

In response to whose powers are the most difficult to work around:
"Probably Madrox, because his power really doesn't make much sense. I get that an impact creates a duplicate of him, but where do the clothes come from? The objects he's holding? The thing is, I actually have a whole storyline in mind that really would make sense out of it. I just haven't quite worked up the ideal time to launch into it."
That planned storyline wouldn't involve a certain tattooed assassin and the former majority owner of Singularity Investigations would it? **crosses fingers**
The FUX-Men: Jamie Madrox, Strong Guy, Layla Miller, Forge, Bishop, Quicksilver, Monet, Beast.

The inking looks lighter than last issue, but it doesn't really take away from anything, it is the city of lights after all. Looking very forward to this, and from the looks of those preview images, a new avatar too.
Also, I <3 this image very much.
Siryn, you slut! Good for you!
I know it belongs to DC, but PAD just made me remember how i loved Young Justice. To this day i still wonder if Slobo will ever be freed from being stuck in that statue of himself in the year 1 million.
Yep, the DC universe is weird that comic was aswell (in a nice sense) and i loved most of it's issues.
"Probably Layla. Seriously - would you want to get on her bad side?"
Actualy that's an intresting question if you think about it. Layla is dangerous because she infected herself with nano machines which contain informations about developments in the comming 80 years, but these are from an alternative future, hence every course of action taken in the present can change those events in slighty ways, causing the amount of knowledge layla has about the future especialy the minor events to become more and more wrong.
Layla's nano machines can't compensate the Butterflyeffect that little actions cause. Because the knowledge they give her are written in stone, but in a stone which might never be written or has been written in a future which might get disconnected from the current present.
Thereby if i'm a nobody who's life she accidently ruined, i might want to get on her bad side and actualy win.
So in some way the greatest danger to Layla are not the big players but the smallest most unimportant people.
Also didn't Mission Impossible always had only 5 main characters and the occasional one-shot support character? I actualy have to agree on that x-factor feels a bit full at the moment, especialy if everyone on the team is a main character instead of stable supportive one.
Also looks like the book will have some good art in the upcomming issues.

That should be a no brainer for Mr. Wine Spritzer there.

heh...i don't read X-Force, so i actually DID think the kid was Rictor's. damn...kinda wish i hadn't spoiled myself on that one, lol!
God, tomorrow cannot come soon enough.
In the meantime, PAD has given us even more to worry about with those hints. I don't particularly want to see anyone leave the book, since he's made me love each and every one of them. Hopefully he won't kill anyone off on top of the whole "someone leaving" thing.
I doubt he kills anyone, but I would not be surprised if we have two exits... personally Longshot and Shatterstar are the two I think most expendable.
If two roster spots become available who does everyone want to fill them?
Pietro is out as currently being a role model for young possible Avengers, (somone dropped the ball there).
I'd say Toad & Rhapsody, (Polaris & Havok would be good to but I doubt they would return to simply join the outcast team).

Reading this makes me so anxious for upcoming issues, and that's exactly what PAD wants, damnit!
I have a sickening feeling that Shatterstar is the character who is leaving. Which will greatly upset me, and he was one of the best things about this book lately. He also has potential sales boosting power, and he's an A-list fighter: two things that I can see creators for a book like X-Force wanting to get ahold of.
I sure hope PAD didn't intentionally trade Rahne for Shatterstar...
