I would kill to get Van Lente and Kurth on the regular book. Fraction and Larocca has got to go.
There are four stages of matter. Solid. Liquid. Gas & Don't. It's science.
I am a male. Deal with it.
The first arc was pretty good, but not enough to buy this arc. On the other hand, it sounds like this is very different from 'War of the Iron Man'. I can't contain my excitement for Arno Stark in a few months, though.
READ SNARKED!
When it should be the other way around. This story was the arc I wanted to do first. Marvel felt that it would be better to go with something that was a little closer to the way Iron Man was depicted in the movies.
I understand Marvel's POV from a business perspective, but I shudder to think at the things they'll do with Captain America about the time the movie hits theaters. If Ed doesn't play ball, will he be replaced by Fraction?

Homer: Ned Flanders, I mock your value system. You also appear foolish to the eyes of others.
Ned: Well howdy, Homer! Thanks for dropping by!

Homer: Past instances in which I professed to like you, were fraudulent.
Ned: Oh well. I'll just have to try harder. Thanks for dropping by!

Homer: I engaged in intercourse with your spouse or significant other. Now that's psychiatry!
I'm am loving this book! Van Lente is a great writer and glad to hear he has big plans for the future of this book. I try to recommend it to everyone at my LCS.
"That's not just "one man"! That's TONY FREAKING STARK. You're intel should've warned us that he was James Bond and "Q" wrapped in the same guy!" Cobra
Haven't been following IML (don't find War of the Iron Men compelling enough), but I'm changing my mind with Industrial Revolution. The story sounds interesting enough from the interview and I may pick it up just to support Van Lente.

-- Cheetah, Batman: The Brave and the Bold
I love Fred's stuff, but man, I wish he hadn't dragged the Illuminati into this series.Part of the whole appeal of the thing for me was that it was set before all of that stuff became part of current mainstream continuity, and it seemed to be avoiding it very nicely.
Turn that frown upside down.
The Deadpool that Renoylds loves would, just by timing be Kelly-Pool or Nieceza-Pool.....so a movie influence on the books might mean it's getting back to what was good than the "hey, I have 2 voices in my head..see, that's funny! wokka wokka" pool.
Static Pulse: That's why I like you. You're like four degrees away from being a William Gibson protagonist.
