Honestly, he was probably the over-all best fighter in the entire group when they got to Soul Society. Ichigo eventually outpaced him but even before his broke his glove, he must have been at least Liutenant level.

Now isn't HM supposed to be just as if not more densely packed with spirit energy?
Pretty much. I believe Ishida commented on that when they first went to Hueco Mundo.

And why is everyone acting like Complete Holy Form makes you lose your Quincy powers forever and ever? We've got straight up proof via Ishida that the powers can be restored. With all this theorizing about Ryuuken being somehow related to Emperor Manlybeard it's not a big leap to theorize that if one knows the restoration trick the other would.
It's just that the restoration trick is time consuming and insanely dangerous. It involves working yourself nearly to death from physical and mental exhaustion and then getting shot with a spirit arrow exactly 19 mm to the right of the heart. (If you are American, that's 0.74803". Exactly.)

Also, you will still be powerless until you can find another Quincy to help you, so if you don't manage to kill all your enemies before you burn out, you are in trouble.

Also also, I'm not sure but I think it only works once.

So, unless Emperor Manlybeard really has figured out how to let Quincy keep their powers after using Letz Stil, it still kinda sucks compared to Resurrección and shikai/bankai.

Well, he didn't want to join Ichigo this time because saving Hueco Mundo is kinda counter-productive to his mission in life. But it's not like it's something personal - I mean, he knows Nel and her cohorts are okay even though they're arrancar.

Likewise, he may be against fighting Quincy on principle, but that doesn't mean he will join their cause. Heck, he thought the shinigami were in the right to whipe out the Quincy the first time around. Lord knows he has no personal reason to want to see Soul Society destroyed. Oh, he probably still wouldn't pass up a chance to headshot Mayuri if he thought he could get away with it, but he's pretty cool with the rest of them. He wouldn't want, say, Rukia and Renji to die.

It's a pretty tricky situation - the most likely thing would be for him to just sit this one out, but that's pretty much guaranteed to not happen. I really wonder what Kubo is planning here.

But how would he react if say his dad turned up dead mysteriously and the quincies show up to put the blame on soul society.
Honestly? My guess would be: "With a healthy degree of suspicion." He's a smart, observant guy who doesn't jump to conclusion or gets fired up about stuff, and he's very skilled at deduction.

I mean, the guy who pretended not to be a Quincy, tried to talk Ishida out of being a Quincy, and who by all accounts don't want anything to do with the Shinigami and has been ignored by them for years, suddenly gets killed by Soul Society, and at virtually the same moment a large and highly organized group of Quincy/blatant Nazi allegory show up out of nowhere and want Ishida's help with this war they are coincidentally waging on the Shinigami?

Ishida is going to take one look at that scenario and call bullshit. Even if he pretends to believe them, it will last exactly as long as it takes for someone to slip up and say something incriminating.

Unless of course Ishida is the one really calling the shots being Emperor Manlybeard and all of his forgiveness stuff from before was just him putting up a front!

When they defeat Emperor Manlybeard and think it's all over, Ishida will appear before them, break his glasses, and reveal that he was really Aizen all along!

And then he'll kidnap Ichigo's sisters or something.

I theorize that, once you lose and regain your powers, you can Leitz Stil without losing them

...Of course! That's why Kommendant Glasses said Ishida couldn't possibly be weaker then him, then acted as if he almost let slip some great secret. Ishida has been manipulating everyone since the day they met! No, since the day they were born!

It all makes sense now! o__O

I say.... he jumps in randomly and saves Ichigo and co at a crucial moment.

Sort of like Hiei during the Sensui saga when he said he had no interest in helping anybody.

It appeared as if he was wearing a glove underneath his other glove could be how he keeps, his powers or after you master it you can keep it....

All this talk about Ishida getting a power up makes me think that if

    Ichigo's Dad >>>> Ichigo

    Than

Ishida's Dad >>>>>>>>>>> Ishida I mean the guy knows all the original Quincy techniques he could probably troll a lot of the captains without even trying......

Interesting Empreor guy only took five guys with him, why are they going in outnumbered?

Because they understand that five people is the maximum relevance number. Anyone else they brought after that number would just be cannon fodder.

I count 7 guys in that two-page spread. And there are probably more who aren't shown.

Honestly, whether or not they can regain their powers, I don't see any Super Quincy hesitating to use it if King Manlybeard tells them to fight all out considering what the guy does to people who even slightly annoy him.
Fox Mr. Sinister (holding Rogue's chin): "So beautiful, yet so strong."

Fox Wolverine: "Well, I always did think I was kinda cute. Nice of you to mention it."

Still, what happens after you've been reduced to a normal human? He doesn't strike me as the kind to let you retire in peace.

He puts you inside a giant quiver and uses you as a projectile when in battle.

He's still really good a summing things up.

And while it's true that Bleach has dropped in the eyes of most readers I still like it a lot more than I like Toriko and while it's probably not as well written I personally do enjoy the Hueco Mundo arc more than the Soul Society arc.

Do dead people in Bleach usually remember there lives? I know Parakeet kid did but I can't remember if it was just because he was knew or it was said that was rare or something.

I think they do. At least, I can't recall any mention that they don't, and IIRC early in the Soul Society arc there were people in Rukongai talking about their old lives.
