Who Was Professor X's Favorite Flunkie/Teacher's Pet?

Proffesor X always had people to rely on whether to delelgate orders he had given them to delegate to others, Help him in the Lab, Make Exciting new toys for his war for Mutant Kind, or help him do Telepathic Jobs he couldn't handle himself. He also had his flunkies steal for him at one point or Another.


Here is a list of few people that were Flunkies of Professor X.


Cyclops the first X-man, the boy scout, the cry baby, Scott would cry about Jean or Alex or maybe, Nate, (Maddie) im not sure to Chuck but it wouldnt come without a price. Chuck would "take care of these situations" for Scotty.
The price that had to be paid was Scott was out there in the fields, leading his team to accomplish the so called "Dream".



Jean Grey The First student the one he lusted for without telling her ( Thanks to Onslaught).
She actually is the cause of Onslaught according to Darkness,
She helped him in the Z-Nox chamber.
She was aslo there on Avalon giving Magneto psycho therapy.
As Wolverine layed dying in the Blackbird Jean was telepathically easing Wolverine's pain while Chuck was playing doctor.
Chuck stated to Danger that Jean knew he was as a person.


Storm The Weather Goddess leader of the Second Wave of X-men, she stole information for Chuck that contained info of the Exo Skeleton worn by Xavier in X-men 25. Now when Chuck met her as little girl he touched her mind, did this mean he subliminally implanted a thought when he asked her to join the X-men hmmmmmmmmmmm,( which is a question for another thread)She regreted stealing the CD by telling Chuck she would never steal for Chuck again.

Making toys for Chuck, playing chess with the old man like a flunkie not a Equal, Whenever Chuck needed him he beckon to the call. He redesigned the Danger room, the Blackbird and the uniforms worn by the X-men.
Also he helped Chuck with the afore-mentioned Exo Skeleton, or the beacon to find Moira Mc-taggert in Uncanny 300.



Moira Mctaggert-

Chucks old flame and co-scientist of the Legacy virus and discovering certain Mutants, Co-Creator of Cerebro, helping find Jean. She stood by his side, until she betrayed the X-men only to come back time and time agiain.
She also changed Magneto genetic code so he wouldn't become evil once more as he was still and infant.


So it begs the Question Who was Charles favorite Flunkie?

If Brubaker didn't prominently feature Deathbird in RAFOTSE (and write her very well in doing so), i'd consider his run an abject failure.

But he did, and he'll always have just that going for him in my mind.

When he disbanded the X-Men during the Shattering he chose Storm as his sole confidant and base of a new X-Men. In X-Men Annual 3 it was revealed they have a father/daughter relationship. Even when Ororo didn't trust him with Destiny's diaries they were still close and kept constant communication
