Rick Remender and artist Jerome Opena kick off their new ongoing series "Uncanny X-Force" in October. CBR News spoke with Remender about the individual cast members of the book and his plans for the series.

I don't have any problems with Betsy and Warren's past relationship being touched upon again-- as long as people are reminded that they did indeed break up. I don't want them to have this underlying desire to be together because of destiny or fate or something.

And why is Betsy an omega level telepath? Some other behind the scenes event that I missed out on?

I wonder how many times a writer will declare their team pro-active like it's some new and original thing? We must be at fifty and counting...

When Remender talks about the characters, and reading X-books for the past 20 years, I get more faith in how this book will go. He seems to hold as much regard for the relationships and characterization, as the willingness to want to tell action/horror scenarios for the team.

Hell, he even makes Fantomex's motivations seem interesting.

gosh...I'll never been interested about everything like X-Force but the takes of Remender about his line-up is getting the whole thing attractive...
And his teaming with Opena never failed...

I'd rather prefer to see them onto a new X-Men book featuring Havok, Polaris, and Rachel , training young mutants, but ,eh...
