I love Tony Daniel's Batman. <3 I hope we see more Lark soon.

I love it too.
I know it's not the best written Batman around, but there's just something insanely fun about it. Plus, I'm still a pretty big fan of his art. Sure, it's inconsistent, but when it's good it's really good.
Plus, I like Catgirl and I love how much he touches upon past continuity.
EDIT: Originally I hated his run and was a pretty big detractor, but I really did grow to love it. 698 and 699 were pretty bad, though.
I get a more Jim Lee/Frank Miller mix in this art rather than Quitely/art adams.
His Batman is very close to Miller's and that scene with SUps, WW, and Bats would fit in real well as a page in All-Star Batman and Robin.

Happy with his Selina. And I like Catgirl. I will support this book.
I forgot to mention that I think Catgirl's costume is atrocious. Absolutely shockingly bad.
Even Frank Miller's Catgirl in Dark Knight Strikes Back was better.
So are these stories about Dick or Bruce as Batman?
It's quite a bold move for Tony Daniel to change up his art style at this point of his run but I commend him for taking the risk. Hope it works out nicely in the end as I'm sure many of us have an artist we can remember where such a gamble didn't quite hit the mark.
Glad to hear that Catgirl and Catwoman will show up again. I found Catgirl's choice of costume amusing since after all she is just a kid/teen and I would expect it to be garish on the first attempt.
I LOVE the new evolution of Daniels' art. Simply brilliant, so much better than the workmanlike job he was doing before. Truly a massive, MASSIVE improvement, combining two schools (Jim Lee and Frank Miller) of Batman artists into a really pleasing, unique whole.
I wish he wasn't writing, though. I love what he is doing on Grant Morrison's two parter right now, and I'd like to see him get a better writer, or at least a co writer, for his stories.
He says he is maturing as an artist and writer. What I see is his degression in both the forms. I hope atleast his art gets better. I hope all this was a side-effect of his illness and now when is again well, I hope
that all will be well.

Cool. Tony Daniel has only impressed me with his work, both his art and his writing, so im excited to see what he does with his Batman run.
I have always liked Daniel's art...his writing is improving too, I am definitely gonna give his "Batman" a chance come November...but its gonna be tough to decide which titles to keep with so many good ones coming out!
