Still not completely sold on the art style, but Huston makes this a must-buy for me.

Same here (except for the part about the art; I think it's awesome). But Huston definitely makes this a must buy for me as well.

Can Ryp not go one series without drawing (something that at least looks like) a hideous monster's dong? Christ.
This just in: Chris Sprouse has pulled out of Orson Scott Card.

No one draws horrific imagery like Ryp. His Living Dead, Friday The 13TH and A Nightmare On Elm Street work for Avatar was beautiful.

    Default Hmmm...

"Too violent to show?" Huston? Ryp?

Marvel... why the hell was this not called WolverineMAX? Seriously! How does Deadpool qualify for a MAX series before Wolverine?

Is it going to be canon?

Everything else looks good, but damn if Bryan Hitch isn't getting worse and worse every time I see his work. When I look at his Ultimates stuff it's hard to believe it's the same guy...

Hope Huston saves it because this doesn't look great.

I see the mods deleted my post. I guess some people can't handle the truth about Marvel's (and DC) decision to take character's original created for kids/all ages and aim them at a small niche and shrinking audience made up of adults who have been reading these books since they were kids themselves.

Perhaps if you framed your post in a way that wasn't incredibly insulting of both creators and readers, it would go over better.

    Too violent to show?

I'd have preferred a "rainbows and puppies" variant to this preview.

The excised scenes are Wolverine and Voleman eviscerating puppies with rainbows.
