This looks great. As soon as I heard Stan Lee and Mark Waid, I was sold on this book.
There sure are alot of variants:
Issue ships with A & B covers in a 50/50 split,
COVER C (Incentive: 1 for every 25 ordered)
COVERS YET TO BE REVEALED:
COVER D (Incentive: 1 for every 50 ordered)
COVER E (Incentive: 1 for every 75 ordered)
COVER F (Incentive: 1 for every 150 ordered)
COVER G Signed by Stan Lee Edition (Incentive: 1 for every 300 ordered)
Although it makes sense, since it's a #1 co-written by Stan Lee AND Mark Waid.
Wow those covers look good. Ok the covers sold me. Gonna try this out for sure now :)
I like that middle variant cover a lot actually.
7 covers?! Man, they must need this to be a hit! Guess keeping Stan in hookers and blow ain't cheap!
I've said before that I don't think Stan has much to do with these titles...not that it matters, he hasn't been relevant since the 60's...but Waid alone is enough to make me crack the cover when it hits the stands. Not sure if it's a buy...Incorruptible has knocked Waid off my automatic buy list for the time being, but I'll give it a chance.
7 covers though? That makes me want to pass altogether. I hate gimmicks like this. Although Boom usually cheapskates out and does "variants" like reverse colors that you don't feel compelled to buy anyway...but it's the principal.
I absolutely can't wait for this book! Check out my message board dedicated to this line!

The covers look sweet and I love the look of the character, he looks like a superhero and that's perfectly fine by me since this is a superhero line of comics, you would be surprised how many people I've seen complain about The Travelers look while reading comments about the upcoming book. I can't wait to finally sit down and read these new books once they hit shelves, I'm really hoping that the line succeeds and that these books remain around as long as all of the classic Marvel & DC characters have over the years.
