I think so, but there didn't seem to be any specific mention of him/her throughout the entire read other than the mention of other "guest stars." I hope they don't kill off the Panther God.

In the similar article at newsarama it mentions a diety from Africa. Add that to the cover image and I would assume the Panther God makes an appearance. Originally Posted by nj06

I wouldn't mind seeing the God Squad continue in some fashion to deal with wierd universal threats (mystic or cosmic) a la the original Defenders. If they rotated the line-up with this group, Thor, Herc, Cho, Snowbird, and maybe other Eternals like Ikaris, the book would be pretty cool. Izanagi has been playing a small, supporting role in Prince of Power, but I hope to see some of the guys introduced in Oeming's Ares mini-series, such as Inari and Bishamon!
These "Chaos War" tie-in annoucements keep getting better and better!
