Steve's "Commander Rogers" uniform proved to me less is more

I am sure Clint's new duds would look better under a good artists pen, Acunna's art makes every one look like shit

I'm getting tired with the whole removing the costumes out of heroes. Three New Avengers don't have it anymore, and others are getting more militaristic styles, it's kinda making the heroes more plain in my eyes.

Luke Cage never had a costume, He had a yellow shirt he liked and some little girls Tiara he found.

Strange is no longer sorcerer supreme and thus is not wearing the fancy get up, I am sure he will have a new look with the Defenders.

Jessica Jones never had a costume, only her retconned in past had her in a costume. So it's not like the current New Avengers writer took her costume away or anything.

Unless you were referring to some other New Avengers?

While I don't agree with you about Acuna I agree about everything else. I'm telling you guys, look at Caselli's New Hawkeye, badass.

I for one am more irritated about fans that think the "costume" makes the character. It doesn't. Get over it.

Yeah sorry, can't agree with you all that much. Maybe being more of an X-Fan growing up has made me this way. But the whole idea of there being "iconic" costumes that can't change really turns me off to characters.

Oh, costumes can change. I just think it should be more gradual than something out of nowhere.
