THE NURSE IS NOT MEPHISTO!!!! She calls Kingpin and tells him that the lady is recovering. He tells her to off her. They go back and forth on it. Meanwhile, Aunt Anna calls MJ. She heard a weird noise outside. Her aunt is now a target by kingpin. MJ goes to her aunt, notices its too late and a break in has occurred. Perp is still there. MJ hits dude (whos wearing a big mask that matches the layout of the shadow on the JQ cover... though its a luchador mask) with a flower pot (should have used a brick lol) He recovers and gives chase. He has been told to make her suffer. She jumps a fence after being shot at. Beware of dogs. Dude saves MJ from a dog, only to want to shoot her. In comes another dog (nice line about learning about DOGS being plural) Peter finds out, hes on his way, gets a big dude to stand guard, shows him the spider-man outfit, guy is thrilled to help. MJ is caught again.... Guy is gonna kill her, in comes spidey. Pulls the mask off ITS EDDIE MUERTE(crook the pigeon let out) Next up they go to Dr. Strange. Strange says he cant help. Peter calls BS. Strange tells him to wait and goes astral surfing. We are left with him explaining the situation to those responsible.... REED and TONY. He urges them to help fix it.

I know there's one more issue to go but it sure seems like Marvel is writing off that issue of Avengers the initative where the Scarlet Spiders (MVP clones) helped Peter. Dan Slott said we'd wanna look back on it because it was important....Ok Dan I'm still waiting to see how/why it's important.

Plans can change but, as you said, there is one more issue and it seems fairly simple from here... so there has to be something more.

OMD was built up as a story about Peter & MJ, but their relationship wasn't crucial until Parts 3 & 4.

I think it should have... Though the tone of mj and peter would need to change so that she breaks up with him after it and then we flash forward to the party for harry.

This is essentially the big Peter & MJ story we were led to believe would happen in OMD, and it ends the same way (Peter & MJ breaking up) with many of the details we would have expected to see in One More Day (how Aunt May recovered, how Peter's identity became a secret again, what Peter & MJ recall happening on their wedding day.)
