Sounds cool. I like this new villain Glory. He/she/it seems alot more powerful than Thor.
Seems almost too powerful to me. But I'm still game either way.
I like how Chaos War is keeping all of its book so far pretty small. The main book is five issues, Dead Avengers is three, this is two and Alpha Flight is a one-shot. I'm sure there's more, but this is much more manageable than a bunch of four-five issue series/tie-ins and more (like Shadowland currently is)
Is this the ninth or tenth Thor book announced since ComiCon?
And to think the book and character were gone a few years ago.
Reading: Fantastic Four, All-Star Western, Aquaman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Justice League, Demon Knights, Scalped and The Walking Dead

Chaos War seems more interesting than Siege to me so far. Not sure if I'll get it I'd like to know more about the baddies beforehand.
I totally agree, but still, it's getting hard to keep up with all the various THOR series out there - are ANY of them ongoings besides the standard one being penned by Fraction? Are all the others just various minis, or will we get 2+ ongoings ala Iron Man when his first movie came out?
I'm seeing a glut of Captain America minis on the horizon, too. Go Marvel Go! Get the $ while the gettin's good!
Start with the Ares mini by Oeming and Foreman, then check out the Incredible Herc Secret Invasion issues. That should give you an idea about the main bad guy in the story - Amatsu-Mikaboshi. The former really helps to establish the character and shows why a lot of people complained when Bendis got his hands on Ares and Alex(Phobos). The latter explains how Amatsu-Mikaboshi got to his current place. I'm sure it'll all be explained in either the mini or a lead-in though.
Just to let you know, there are currently two Iron Man ongoings, as well.
The main one, Invincible Iron Man, written by Matt Fraction which covers the current state of Tony Stark,
and Iron Man: Legacy (written by Fred Van Lente), a book that shines a contemporary light on Iron Man's past adventures.
And both aren't exactly great.
Fraction's plays loose with continuity, character personalities, and common sense to be "fun" (while also being very decompressed and boring), and Van Lente's really doesn't have much of an identity since it switches time periods every five issues.
And both have horrible art.
Someone once told me that time was a predator that stalked us all our lives. I rather believe that time is a companion who goes with us on the journey and reminds us to cherish every moment, because it'll never come again. What we leave behind is not as important as how we've lived. After all, we're only mortal. - Jean-Luc Picard
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move. - The Guide
We actually are getting a second thor ongoing. Astonishing Thor, which I'll almost certainly be picking up. The second Iron Man title did absolutely nothing for me, but I think Thor's mythology gives him plenty of room for more stories.
And yeah, I'll be picking this thing up as well. I love Thor facing off against other gods from other pantheons, and even though I have no idea who Glory is, sign me up.
