wait, why is new x-men's angel in it? and why the hell would they give the role to zoe kravitz?

ugh. nothing about first class has been appealing. i'll skip this and wait for it in the video stores

If this is to be the final cast I no longer have any desire to see this movie. How can you have an X-men First Class movie without Cyclops, Jean Grey, Storm, or Iceman? If this is to be the case then the movie shouldn't be called First Class. It should be called "That movie that's trying way too hard to fit into the first four X-men movies."

However, I do have some hope. If this is the cast then the best hope anyone can have is that this movie does so bad that it forces Fox to reboot the whole series. I'm talking Gili or Glitter bad. I'm talking single-digits on the tomato-meter. That seems like the only way the X-men movies will ever be watchable again.

Unless the trailers look fantastic, I'm just afraid the story is going to suck badly. They're trying too hard to mesh this with the other four movies and I'm not sure they can without it just coming out terrible.

As much as I liked a lot of the actors in 1, 2, 3, and Origins, they may just have to reboot the entire thing.

I thought this movie was about the original X-men. Jean Grey, Cyclops, Iceman, Beast, and Angel.

Typical, the movie industries never do stick with original characters, they go what they think is popular.

I was defending this movie initially, but the more they announce the more it's looking like a collossal clusterf***. Dont get me wrong, I like some of the casting decisions, but the rest seem so utterly random that it's nigh-impossible to get any kind of clear picture as to what this movie's going to be about...aside from being crammed with so many C and D list X-characters that it'll make X3 look like Citizen Kane.

The fact this cast is so disparate makes me want to know more about this movie. Not that it will be good, I'll be pleasantly surprised if that's the case. I loved Vaughan's Stardust and Kick-Ass, but I just don't know what he's working with.

It really seems this was shoved out the door to keep film rights over the X-Men franchise. Isn't that what was going on?

X-Men Origins: Wolverine suffered from the too much character-itis thing as well and didn't do the movie any favors. Blob, White Queen, and Gambit in particular seemed really crammed in even though I liked some of their performances and the actors they chose.

Lol, At least Beast made the cut.

And I prefer Summers brother Havok over Cyclops, so I'm glad they went with Havok instead.

I'm glad they are using some X-characters we haven't seen much on screen yet. I'm looking forward to this movie more and more.

It's not a movie parroting a comic I read years ago, so it's going to suck! And there's actors in it! So it's going to suck. And there's characters who have names, as opposed to just random extras, so it's going to suck!

I don't know who January Jones, but I was looking forward to Alice Eve in White Queen outfits.

A lot of these folks casted so far will probably have roles no bigger than Colossus' or Siryn's in X2. I know people can't wait to hate, but seriously, it's a little silly even for comic book fans to say that the movie's going to suck based on the fact that this actor will be playing this role when you have no idea how big the role will be, how it will affect the plot, what that plot will be, or how the character will be written.
