That art looks cool
Is this going to have flatscreen TVs like the Avengers one?
Tan Eng Huat's art reminds me somewhat of Art Adams' art. That's a good thing.
On another note, exactly how many Thor/Thor-related series is Marvel saturating the market with before the movie comes out?
By my count, there are at least 8: the Thor ongoing, Thor the Mighty Avenger, Thor For Asgard, Astonishing Thor, Thor: First Thunder, Ultimate Thor, Warriors Three and the Loki mini-series.
Plus, the Thor omnibus by JMS and Coipel is due out in October.
So, if you get all the series and the JMS Omnibus, between now and the time the movie gets released, you'd have spent over USD220, barring discounts, to get your Thor fix. Ouch.
When this was announced I was actually pretty pumped for this, as I enjoyed Huat's art on Punisher and Deadpool, but for some reason I just don't like what I'm seeing in that preview.
Also, I'm not really interested in paying $3.99 for a comic that has, on average, 3-4 panels per page.
So now, I'm not even sure if I'll be getting this anymore (which might be a good thing since there are WAY too many books coming out in September that I want).
Someone once told me that time was a predator that stalked us all our lives. I rather believe that time is a companion who goes with us on the journey and reminds us to cherish every moment, because it'll never come again. What we leave behind is not as important as how we've lived. After all, we're only mortal. - Jean-Luc Picard
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move. - The Guide
