This just in: Chris Sprouse has pulled out of Orson Scott Card.
Yeah, these $4 books are getting out of control....Also, wayyyyyy to many Batman books.
Looks like I'm dropping a few books, and then picking up other new ones.....
3.99$ is a tolerable price for something I really enjoy and/or am excited about but for a just okay book to cost that much without a Co-Feature is almost criminal. I'm gonna Miss JSA: All-Stars though I thought they'd lower the price when they removed the mediocreco-feature but alas it was not meant to be.
Also, R.I.P. Madame Xanadu.![]()

When did they start collecting Hitman? That's pretty awesome.

Sooooooooo my brain sees:
$3.99
Batman Inc
Batman The Dark Knight
$2.99
Superboy new series
It's interesting to see what DC prices at $3.99 compared to $2.99. There is still a lot of good $2.99 books out there compared to Marvel, but a lot of the new "big" books from DC will probably be 32pg/$3.99 from now on. I'll probably pick up Superboy and trade wait The Dark Knight...i'm torn on Batman Inc. I am currently not buying any 32pg/3.99 book, DC is trying their best to get me to break that rule.
Also:
Rebels tpb vol 3
Sweet Tooth tpb vol 2
yeah the two new batman books are trying to kick my rule of "only two 3.99 32 page books".
I'll try to stick with it eitherway.
Anyway I'm looking forward to the new superboy comic![]()
That's like saying if all the porn was made by my grandma I would be able to sustain a real relationship.
(and I can't)
Was I the only one who looked at the Kubert cover for Batman Inc. and thought, "Oh sweet Jesus that costume sucks" then look at the Paquette cover and say, "Never mind it's good." Momentary panic. Anyways, I shall be picking up the following:
Batman Inc. #1
Batman: The Dark Knight #1
Batwoman #0
Detective Comics #871
Batman and Robin #17
(Maybe) Superboy #1
Brightest Day#13-14
Green Lantern #60
Green Lantern Corps. #54
Green Lantern: Emerald Warriors #4
Flash #8
American Vampire #9
Fables vol. 14
The Unwritten #19
Sweet Tooth vol. 2
Wow, big month...
Bane riding a dinosaur. . . nothing this cool will ever happen again.![]()
