Hi, I just recently read the killing joke by Alan Moore and I enjoyed it very much. One of the scenes where batman tries to reason with joker to stop fighting each other. But, joker responds with a joke and both of them end up laughing hysterically. This part got me curious. Why did batman laugh at that joke? Was it simply because batman decided to let go of his humor and decided to laugh because the joke was funny? or did he see a hidden meaning in the joke relevant to their circumstances? was the two people from asylum suppose to represent batman and joker in someway? what do you guys think?
Sorry if a thread explains this I couldn't find it using the search function.
