He joked that Straczynski "has taken over from this hack doing 'Superman,
The panel was purely about being a DC writer. As an aside, Robinson said that "DC Writers Unite!" sounded like some kind of battle cry, as if they were about to go and attack Marvel. He painted a vivid picture of the non-violence that would ensue "It would be like 'West Side Story,' I think, with lots of high kicks and jazz hands." And with that, the giggling crowd was warmed up and relaxed enough to bathe in the collected knowledge of the assembled comic book writers.
Wow Robinson has a nice sense of humor.

What has Robinson done for Marvel? I don't remember anything, unless you count Malibu's "Firearm" (which was great and like so many other things deserves a trade repackaging).

Also, someone tell Denny... that Freddy Freeman idea has been done, albeit as Kid Miracleman.

I know he did Captain America's Heroes Reborn, where he made Rob Lefield tolerable.

The concept of being seduced by power is not exactly new and wasn't created by Alan Moore...

Oh man, the most interesting part of the interview -the one about writer's regrets- was too short (probably ran out of time.) Too bad, because those are the ones I like hearing about the most- when you hear a writer say I love working on this or with so-and-so or for such company yadda yadda you have to wonder if they really mean it or if they are forced by circumstances (like being on a live DC comics panel). It's when they mention what they didn't like that you feel they're being honest since that doesn't gain them anything. It's one of the reasons I like Simone- she's gotten in trouble more than once by being honest about her opinions.
