"No tights." Like the idea of Superman in costume is just crazy. Really? A black coat and shirt doesn't make him any cooler. The opposite, in fact.

Remember there is a very very small chance that if season 10 does really well we'll get a season 11.

It's like Season 8 was suppose to be the last but look how that turned out. Besides I feel we need at least two seasons worth to give the Darkseid Arc a more epic feel

Or they could just do fewer ridiculous fillers.

Looking forward to seeing how they'll handle Darkseid, Dasaad and Kalibak.

Have they said that Fourth World characters other than Darkseid will be part of the show? I've never watched Smallville, but I'm probably going to try it this year just because I can't resist seeing how they handle this.

I saw the preview and noticed the suit and went 'That's the Brandon Routh suit'. You could just tell by the 'S'.

I don't know if that's a good sign, but I liked last season. So...

    It's Superman.

The original movies proved that by putting someone who could act, had the build and more importantly the PRESENCE of the big S into an actual pair of blue tights you could not only take it seriously but accept it as one of the greatest versions of Superman on screen.

WB need to have more faith. Don't MAKE it work, just do it.

I think Welling said in one of the panels that it was indeed the same suit from Returns.

I'd like to see GA in a spinoff series, if it could be done. But get rid of the glasses and get a real mask for him.

Every season of Smallville needs some filler episodes, or else they'll spread the storyline way too thin. Every now and then it's nice to see an episode that has nothing to do with the overall plot.

This. Smallville has a bad habit of only touching on the season baddie once every third episode, and then cramming everything in to two eps at the end of the season.
