I like Anya, so I shall buy this.
Well to me, he seems prepared and seems like he has a plan for the character.
So I wish him the best of luck and hopes to see more coming from this series.![]()
Very excited to see Tobin's work with the character.
THE NANNY IS THE HEROIN
Not a huge Anya fan but Tobin does good work, so I will at least give this a shot.
Other than the 2 issues of Young Allies, I don't know the character, but the Tobinverse books are some of the best stuff Marvel's publishing right now, so this is defitinly worth a look.
Static Pulse: That's why I like you. You're like four degrees away from being a William Gibson protagonist.
I must add my voice to the consensus, this looks pretty good, and Tobin seems to know what he's doing with the character, so I'll be checking this out. More Invisible Woman is never a bad thing too.
Also, I wonder if Carmilla Black is going to show up in this title at all?
You never can tell. Someone told me that Deadpool was introduced in the '90s, but only started to take off recently.
Where's Spider-girl? They keep mis-calling Arana Spider-girl here. Odd.
Bring back the Blue Marvel!

I want to read about Julia Carpenter! But Wacker says that they are not using her![]()
ELEKTRA*LADY MASTERMIND*DAREDEVIL*ARIEL
I'd say that this is largely true. While Deadpool did have a nice solid run under the pen of Joe Kelly, I'd argue that his true rise to prominence didn't really take place until after the Cable/Deadpool series started.
Since then he's been in a few movies, a few videogames, lots of minis and a few ongoings.
That would be an awesome pairing right there. Carmilla is probably one of my favorite new characters created by Marvel, but I don't see much of a place for her anywhere. I could see her as a perfect foil/sometimes partner for Anya. For example a lot of what Anya lacks in terms of experience and skill Carmilla has in spades. But you could say the same for Carmilla as she lacks positive relationships from friends or family in her life.
I wonder how closely this book will be intertwined with Young Allies? I'll look into this if there is some tight integration: hopefully a supplemental book will help YA to be a hit.
