Like the Scorpion and Carnage picture. The others I'm not that much a fan of
In the middle of the night...
I'm so stoked about Dan Slott, Marcos Martin, Stefano Caselli and Humberto Ramos are taking over Spider-Man starting this November. Especially the Caselli and Ramos part.![]()
Is that Carnage or Toxin?
Amazing Spider-man, Avengers (Reg, New, Secret, Academy), Uncanny X-Men, X-Men Legacy, X-Factor, X-Force, Captain America,Thunderbolts, Thor, Batman & Robin, Brightest Day, Green Lantern, The Flash
Sweet art!!!!!!!!!!!! I like the one with the hobgoblin
Si is the new Spider-girl a relative of Gwen Stacy? I saw a pic there that made me wonder!
I see some interesting stuff....
El Diablo! The female Scorpion! and some very, very ominously prominent Octopus tentacles! (Maybe that last part was just artistic usage!)
Caselli and Slott together again.
Excuse me while I wipe the drool from my face.
Ramos is too inconsistent for my tastes. Sometimes his 'cartoony' stuff works (and works well), and sometimes it's so anatomically 'weird' it pulls me out of the story. Caselli I'm kind of lukewarm on, to me he's a 'less extreme' Ramos, which is both good and bad. Marcos Martin? Slam dunk! His work evokes the best of Ditko, but his layouts are all his own... and fantastic! Slott has been pretty good as a writer throughout his run on Spidey, though I think overall Joe Kelly was my favorite of the WebHeads.
I like the idea of an 'oversized' book bi-monthly... should be a little less burden on the wallet (presumably). Getting 30 pages of story when Slott needs, or an 8 page 'backup' when Slott doesn't need the extra pages is appealing to me also; provided it's not something like the 'Nomad' backups we're seeing in Captain America these days...
Yes, does anyone know the deal with that black and green costume?
I don't think they mentioned anythign about it. Limited to just this picture I think.
Looks cool though IMO. As long as its not around permanetly I'm down. Love seeing new costumes occasionaly, as long as he eventually gets back to basics with the classic eventually :).
RIP Spider-Man
i LOVE this picture. He'll be spread out a lot, but I think having Spidey on the FF would be awesome. I'd like to see this more than him on the NA.
RIP Spider-Man
