Sounded like a cool panel.

People with a few minor exceptions were raving about the Thor trailer and the 3D on twitter and I guess the Cap footage (they only shot for a week) is pretty cool too.

So it's look like we've got...

Iron Man - RDJ
Fury - Samuel L Jackson
Captain America - Chris Evans
Thor - Chris Hemsworth
Black Widow - Scarlett Johansen
Hawkeye - Jeremy Renner
Banner - Mark Ruffalo

And of course Joss Whedon directing.

And no Ant-Man and Wasp but that's a cool lineup. I guess they'll have to wait for Avengers 2 and the Ant-Man movie. Also no War Machine though I think Cheadle has Avengers as part of his contract. Can't wait to see how it goes.

I'd fire all the actors in bold just to get Edward Norton back as Banner. If you get rid of all of the names in bold and replace them with Banner, the film would be MUCH better.

I was skeptical about Hemsworth too, but once I saw that pic of Thor's guns freaking out while holding Mjolnir I was like, "OK, let's check this out!".

i am looking forward to the Avengers movie. Great line up. I thought it was interesting that The Punisher is back under Marvel Studios and it looks like they plan to use him in the Marvel Movie Universe. That will be interesting to see how they approach Frank Castle.

I . . . really don't understand your logic there at all, as those CHARACTERS are more important to the movie than the one ACTOR.

He's been recast. Either get over it and move on or embrace the unbelievably amazing feat that Marvel Studios has accomplished here. I honestly don't know if, as a comic fan, I've ever been more excited about movies.

I bummed Norton isn't coming back but lets be honest it didn't seem that likely after Incredible Hulk came out. They got a good actor to replace him. Just accept the movie on it's own terms and hope for the best.

That's a pretty good cast for a super hero team movie.

The thor movie is looking more like Power Rangers: the movie than THOR, while it should look like lord of the rings meets Superman. Also, Daniel Craig claims Marvel went to him about 2 years ago for the part and he is more of the age I would imagine Thor. This Thor is wrong age, acting ability, and... I think as a Thor fan I should be excited by the concept art, pictures, and video footage of the film...but it all looks bad except for this:
