The final question was "about getting John [Stewart] laid." "Are you going to follow up on the Fatality connection?" "I think that would be 'part of process,'" Bedard joked, "but I don't want to go in the obvious direction."
Too bad, I kinda liked that potential paring.

I wonder if the WB hawks are on the prey this weekend. Nothing on YouTube at all.

Meanwhile, a fan-filmed Pirates 4 sneak peak (with intro by Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow) is still up. Wake up, Disney!

A load of websites have already written up detailed descriptions of the panel and trailer, they need to hurry up and upload some videos dammit it's getting late. If anyone finds any videos please post.

I'd think it'd be funny if John was ready to go for it, but it was Fatality that said, "Eh. I don't think so."

Well, you could hardly blame him for thinking she'd go for it when she took him out of a battle to make out with him.

Then again, GL #19 established that the whole point of the Star Sapphire gems was to to attach to the love interests Green Lanterns and mate with them before killing them so the whole planet could be encased in a crystal. I think it would be better to wait to see if the Star Sapphires still do that now that they use rings instead of gems before we go pairing John and Yrra.

I think the gemstones are more related to the Predator entity, aren't they? The whole "Preying Mantis" mate-then-kill thing seems very much up that thing's alley, whereas the Zamarons learned about self-control and mimicked the Guardians' Power Ring structure to purely harness the pure emotion of love, not the power of the entity that revels in it.

That's what I'm hoping, we just haven't seen confirmation for or against that. Hopefully GL #57 will explain what the current status of the Star Sapphire Corps is, what with it being about Predator and the first male Star Sapphire.

I'm not excited about the movie and WAS looking forward to the animated series but 3 letters killed it for me: CGI
To bad I was hoping for something good.

Yeah the CGI was a bummer for me too, but I'm willing to give it a shot to see how it pans out. At the very least I want to see a trailer.
