Default Lets see you make THIS thread controversial.

Which novelists would you like to see write comics OR which novels would you like to see adapted to comics?

I think Tami Hoag and Erica Spindler would do great crime thriller comics.

    Controversial? Easy.

Adapt Kurt Vonnegut. The resulting head scratching would be a hoot.

Or how about this. You want controversial? Danielle Steel. She's sold more books than Stephen King OR J. K. Rowling. But man it would piss people off!

The mention of J.K. Rowling makes me want a Harry Potter comic.

I wouldn't mind seeing a visual account of the non-Bourne related Ludlum stuff.

I'd like to see Junot Diaz try his hand at comics. Maybe Teen Titans or Spider-Man.

Diablo Cody. I think Jennifer's Body was a good film with a phenomenal script and a weak director, and I'd love to see her bring more feminist-horror-comedy to comics.

I'd love to see Robert J Sawyer comics; either new stories or novel adaptations. Oh, and to make it controversial; just hit up a porno store or book store "erotica" section and adapt some of those. Or maybe a Comic Book Illustrated version of Mein Kamf.
Pull List; seems to be too long to fit in my sig...

I don't think a comic version of Mein Kampf would go down very well.

Probably some loony Nazi has already done this at some point.

Have James Robinson in full-on "Cry For Justice" mode write any and all Watchmen prequels and sequels.

There see Ahnold just did Hamlet in one line!

Besides you already had an action hero do Hamlet, how many Shakespearean action heroes do you need?

    That would be cool.

He could do Sideways Comics from Wayside School (with no issue #19, of course).
