"A fan followed up Marvel's challenge regarding a crossover (from the Mondo Marvel panel), but all DiDio would confirm was, "Next week, Central Park, Marvel vs. DC softball game.""

They better talk about a comic crossover at that game.
Pull List: Action Comics, Green Lantern, GLC, GL: New Guardians, Justice League, The Flash, Batman Inc, Batman, Nightwing, Batman & Robin, Dial H, Animal Man, Frankenstien, Earth-2

I have no interest in a Marvel/DC crossover at the moment the whole direction of that company has basically destroyed any good feeling i've ever had for their characters.

I'm not actually sure which company you're talking about, but that's frankly kinda BS. Yeah, I hate the "IT'S THE BRIGHTEST DAY where Arsenal gets his baby killed and his arm chopped off and starts doing heroin again"/"IT'S THE HEROIC AGE but Sentry gets ripped in half" schizophrenia that both companies are pushing too, but that doesn't mean that Batman and Spider-Man are retroactively bad characters.

How about you wait until a comic and a team is actually announced before you start rending your garments? Avengers/JLA was pretty great.

Per the rest of the story: I was most struck by Robinson's story of the $350K art based on his $100 cover -- that guy really got taken advantage of back in the day. It's nice that his work was finally recognized and he's now got, well, enough money to buy $350K paintings, but it could easily have gone another way. RIP Bill Finger.
