Default CBR: Brubaker Puts Captain America On Trial

    Great news!

I am very happy to see Brubaker revisiting the Winter Soldier past.

I guess when this arc is over (just before the movie?) Bucky won't be Cap anymore and Steve will be back?

A 5 issue "trial" seems like a long boring read.

I trusted Brubaker prior to Captain America Reborn and Two Americas. I went to trade waiting the book after Two Americas, so if the reviews are good i'll still get it.

I should have seen this coming, as I didn't think that the good, but rough ride would last forever.

Plus it would be interesting to see whom will defend Bucky in a time like this.

Sounds like the proper direction for the story and character. Court room action may not seem to lend itself to the medium, but it can work and I dare say did in Bendis' Daredevil run.

Something tells me it ain't Matt Murdock, so if it's a new character (ie, not Jen Walters), I will automatically be suspicious of him or her.
    I rule me.

Last time Captain America went on trial, before he even made it into the courthouse, it didn't end well...

Well considering it was Buck's guilt of his past that got him to the place he is now, is defending him even an option when he feels he should be punished for his sins?

Something tells me this wont be the event that gives Steve back his mantle as Captain America though.

Nothing makes for a good comic read like thrilling COURTROOM DRAMA!

There better be a leggy D.A.

    And Sam Waterston's steely authority.
