Not at all pleased that Echo's moronic man-suit is the villain of the crossover, but otherwise it sounds good.

A crossover already?! Just when I decided to add H&M to my pull list.

But I love what McCann's doing with the book, and if it keeps up I guess I'll have to shell out for the Black Widow book and hope Swierczynski's as good...

For those wondering, trust me, you'll want all 4 parts- it's 1 story. And things happen in the BW chapters that affect H&M big time and vice versa. In the end, it's only an extra $3 for 2 months. Save a quarter a week between now and when it starts and you'll have the money all ready to spend.

And Mott, you hate the suit, so you should be happy that it's a baddie now. :P Seriously, though, we explain a lot of what RONIN is. (no, there are no mystical properties- LOL) And who is under the Ronin mask? You won't want to miss that...

I for one am really looking forward to this. The Ronin idea isn't a bad one at all. The only problem I have with this is I was really enjoying Liu's Black Widow & I'm hoping Swierczynski can keep up the awesomeness of the book. I'm more than willng to give him a chance though.

I am very happy because BW and H&M are two of my favorite books right now.

and I cannot wait to see Mr. Lopez drawing Natalia Romanova...

I hope that Ronin suit dies a horrible fiery death and we never see it or speak of it again.

Yup. this is gonna be great. I love that it's only a 4-part crossover and will be wrapped up in 2 months!

I was worried that this would be some mega-crossover explosion thing. But that is much more manageable. Also I couldn't pick two books that I'd rather crossover right now. So looks like come December my pull list will consist of: "Hawkeye and Mockingbird", "Black Widow", "Avengers Academy", "Secret Avengers", and Fraction's "Thor"
PULL: Hawkeye, Star Wars, Daredevil, Batman, Secret Avengers

JM: There's humor, but most of all there is fighting for their lives. There's secrets, lies, double-crossing and a lot of shades of gray. All things you could you ask for in a super hero event involving these characters. And emotional wringers galore for every single character!
You know it just slipped my mind that Clint used to be Natasha's boy-toy (I swear that man should have been a gigaloo given the amount of woman that man has followed around!). I wonder if Natasha will taunt Mockingbird about it? Or even better will we be treated to a soap operaish stories about Natasha's secretly having had Clint's baby?
