Default CBR: Guggenheim Takes Charge Of The JSA

DC Comics has announced that Marc Guggenheim is taking over "Justice Society of America," with the ever-busy writer aiming to build a city not on rock and roll but with superheroes during his run on the title.

You know I used to really love JSA, before OYL.

But I can't put myself through anymore of Guggenheim's work.

Well Willingham or Robinson didn't last that long...

I don't think I like this change, or the insability of authors. It feels like there's no chance to build momentum. What the heck happend to Willingham and all his big plans?

I don't like that Jesse has changed back to Jesse Quick from Liberty Belle. I liked her as Liberty Belle a lot better.

What's going to happen to Jade and Obsidian? Ugh...

Hopefully they will go to the All-Stars. I'll give this a try as always, but this makes me unusually cranky at first blush.

You do know he's only writing JSA for the crossover right?

I don't think Robinson was every supposed to be permanent. Just the JLA crossover and the epilogue.

I didn't know Willingham was resigning. Anyway, at the very least I think this is an interesting premise, seems like a nice way for a new reader to get into the JSA.

I hope Guggenheim can do better than Willingham. The book has really suffered from Johns's departure.

Now, I'm really glad I decided to stick with JSA All-Stars rather than the JSA. I hate creative team changes, specially too soon.

Here's hoping Sturges isn't going anywhere, though or I might be biting my tongue... lol

Jade is a member of Robinson's JLA.

Johns was just coasting during that year of Gog stories.

Yeah the post OYL JSA didn't really do anything or tell any stories. It was a big let down.
