I'll be passing I like RIP quite a bit but this book is about two years too late for me to be interested.
My Heroes For Hire: Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Misty Knight, Colleen Wing, The Falcon, Ant-Man (Scott Lang). White Tiger IV and Powerman would be interns.
Both of these look really good, I can't wait
Actually, it makes sense that this story is being held off until now. It'd give away too much too soon.
Not sure if i'd pick up this one, is Batman helping BP with the oil leak there or what? As was mentioned its a bit too late
One of the better batgirl covers i think tho.
This comment seems pretty ignorant, as the contents of Batman #701, rather than being "too late", will tie directly into what's going on right now in Batman & Robin, because it's all one big story. Maybe this poster just hasn't kept up with Morrison's Batman after R.I.P. Makes it hard to believe he enjoyed it "quite a bit" if he doesn't think #701 will be relevant to what's going on right now.![]()
Grant Morrison and Tony Daniel re-team to tell the exciting 2-part, untold tale of Bruce Wayne and his adventures between BATMAN R.I.P. and FINAL CRISIS! What happened to Batman – and Dr. Hurt, for that matter – after the devastating events at the climax of R.I.P.? And what secrets within this story point toward THE RETURN OF BRUCE WAYNE?
It's an untold chapter that takes place between RIP and Final Crisis. I'm already reading return of Bruce Wayne, I'm not going to spend money on "How Batman Survived A Plane Crash From Two Years Ago".
@TuralyonW3 It's laughable that anyone would jump in to complain about my buying decisions. Hopefully you're getting some residuals.

In that same solicit, it talks about its ties to Return of Bruce Wayne.
They couldn't release these two issues until now for a reason.

Guess it'll just be a chapter I miss then. I'm still irritated I paid for 700, awful issue. Luckily B&R has been fun.
edit: It says it points to the return of Bruce Wayne not ties in with. Those are two very different statements, I'll leave it to you guys to decipher the difference.

You can buy what you want, and I won't complain.
But there's a snowman's chance in Hell that that's the only thing this two-parter addresses.
What about Bruce Wayne's theories about who or what Doctor Hurt really is? We haven't heard anything from Bruce up until now ... because he's been busy (Final Crisis) then gone (the last year and a half). But you can bet we'll learn it now.
"Everything hs changed. ‘Dark’ entertainment now looks like hysterical, adolescent, ‘Zibarro’ crap." - Morrison, 2008.
