In this issue concludes the first story arc of this title, the conclusion of the story was decent.
Art wise Patrick Olliffe the artist of such well known and acclaimed titles of the Spider-Man verse as Untold Spider-Man Stories or Spider-Girl.
And his illustrations while having a personal art style reminds me of Ron Frenz illustrations, one of the best Spider-Man stories artist.
So to see the illustrations of a artist that have a art style which is a bit more "oldschool" in a title of the current Spider-Man stories in the digital stories of Spider-Man mesh well actually.
Story wise this was decent story arc by Bob Gale, while i think that his stories in Amazing Spider-Man were sub par compared to the stories of other writers in Amazing Spider-Man.To be fair though the other writers in ASM had much more stories written that by Bob Gale so it was prone to his stories be not as great as say were the ones by Joe Kelly and Dan Slott.
In this title though, the story arc over all got to be interesting with a well thought sense of characterization for Peter Parker,Michelle and J.J.J. and with well thought twists.
As a side note the cover of this issue was illustrated by Brandon McCarthy,a artist that illustrated the acclaimed Spider-Man Fever limited series.
Cool to see that this artist is doing more works in the Spider-Man titles.
And next issue will have a story of Spider-Man teaming up with the Thing against the A.I.M by Tom Peyer and Stephanie Hans.
Which looks like will be a cool story in this title.
