    Default CBR: New Joe Quesada OMIT Variant Unveiled

    Marvel Comics has released Joe Quesada's Mary Jane-themed variant cover for "Amazing Spider-Man" #639, the second chapter in the Quesada written "One Moment In Time" storyline. The issue hits stores August 4.

    Great cover. I was listening to the National song "Sorrow" when I saw it and it totally clicked.

    So basically, this cover is underscoring what we saw in the flashback from issue #605, in that because of the ever-growing dominance of "Spider-Man" in MJ and Peter's life, she just couldn't take it anymore and said, "Enough is enough!"

    Of course, in order to make her frustration more complete, she needs to say:

    And I hope when you think of me years down the line

    Yup.

    MJ's just a few blocks from some very prominent NYC gentlemen's clubs. I wonder if "SPIDER SPIDER SPIDER" will catch on as the new "GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS". Somehow, I doubt it.
