    Marvel Comics has released an advance preview for "Namor: The First Mutant" #1, written by Stuart Moore and illustrated by Ariel Olivetti with covers by Jae Lee and Joe Quesada. The first issue rises on August 25.

    Big fan of Namor, but really put off by Olivetti's art. Why does he draw Namor as being so bulky?

    Actually, for Olivetti standards, he is quite slim...

    Namor IS a mutant. It's been long established that he was the mutant son of an Atlantean and a human.

    He may not be the "first," as obviously Apocalypse for one is older, but he was the first comic book mutant in terms of publication date.

    I'm a bit duisappointed by the art. I also have no clue if any other X-Men will appear. But, I'll follow the vampire thing.

    I love Namor. I can't wait to pick this up. Not too thrilled with the cover art, but the interior looks off the chain. Go Namor! Go Namor! GO!
