Default CBR: Lex Luthor Faces Death

With Neil Gaiman's blessing, writer Paul Cornell is bringing Death of The Endless into his run on "Action Comics" and he spoke to CBR about how the crossover came about and what it means for his villain-centric run.

As soon as I saw Death on that cover I started looking for the name Neil Gaiman and any incarnation or synonym of the word approved.

I don't think the comics internet could handle another break so soon after Wonder Woman.

    That's still going on, dude.

    Ugh. This is...no.

If Gaiman approves (and from what I read, he's on board), then I'm on board.

This could be great or it could be awful... but it Gaiman approves...

EDIT: for what it's worth, I'm really excited for Paul Cornell on Action, and this is only adding to that!

So first Swamp Thing and now this. Is Vertigo about to be "Zuda'd"?

Interesting...especially if Gaiman approved of it ahead of time.

Excellent, also is this confirmation that Cornell is writing for Doctor Who series 6? I can't think of any other British TV Gaiman is involved in.

Actually Death's first "mainstream" Dc comics appearance was in an Issue of Captain Atom...I want to say it was in either 88 or 89...around issue 40

Agreed! I'd like to stay optimistic, because the potential is definitely there for this to be a great character piece for Luthor.
