Aha hah hah. Nice twist on the Peter ditches the webs cover.
I know Kevin Nichols through a guy that knows a gal. Small world!

If nihilism didn't take some delight in destruction one might suspect nihilists were an unnaturally morbid sort.

    That's not a bad cover.

Joe Q must have been tickled pink to be able to draw it, given his thoughts on the marriage.

    Agreed; it's actually quite clever.

I still have absolutely no interest in this story line, though. This is all information we should have gotten three years ago.

Yeah, I thought that was a pretty cool reversal of that scene.
And I hope when you think of me years down the line
You can't find one good thing to say.

You'd stay the hell out of my way.

I am interested in this story. I'm curious how they'll try to explain what happened.

And I think that is a variant cover worth buying.

Quesada's a talented artist, but I've never been a fan of his Spider-Man. Nice variant cover but I'll stick to the regular cover.

Generally I feel the same way, but I like this cover.

My first thought upon seeing the cover was something along the lines of, "Don't poke your eye out, Spidey!"

Look like MJ leaves Spidey to join that big Deadpool head floating in the sky.

That is a very cool variant cover. I normally don't get variants, but I think I'll go with this one when the issue comes out.

I was interested around Amazing 546. My interest was renewed at the end of Amazing 600. It's just, at this point, there's been enough small mentions of it that I feel like I've pieced together what happened. And between a really cool story like Grim Hunt, and a story with tons of potential like Origin of the Species, this feels like its grinding the book's momentum to a halt.

And again, this really should have been explained in the last part of OMD itself, rather than all the filler that got pushed into that issue.
