Please let her wear the costume from Morrison's run.

I mean I liked Face-Off, but I didn't go to college either.
Well, she's certainly got the look for it - can she act at all?
Ugh... Can't they just scrap everything and make this a fresh reboot. X-Men 3 sucked, Wolverine sucked, and now once again fox throws a popular mutant against the wall hoping it sticks like it did with beast and juggernaut. Brian Singer gives me hope, but foxes producers on the business side of things run too rampant.
Producers killed spidey 3 by arm pulling Sam Raimi, director with little experience working with producers on big budget IPs, into adding and using their villain ideas. The difference here is they aren't looking to pull a director out of their comfort zone like they did with spider-man3.
By the way other than the first 2 x-men what is fox's track record with marvel IP from a quality standpoint.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to go with "No" on this one.

I trust the director/writer quite a bit.
Also, if she's wearing THAT outfit, Best Picture of the year confirmed
I actually rather liked Alice Eve in She's Out of My League. She was playing a consumate nice girl there though so it will be interesting to see what she can do with the harder and harsher Emma Frost. Then again, there's awlays Starter for 10...
Check out my latest review: Iron Man 3
i thought Wolverine was a mixed bag ~ the first 1/2 was fairly decent, but the back 1/2 was one of the biggest bags of stupid i've had the misfortune to sit through...
while i really hope at some point here Disney exercises it's army of lawyers to bring Marvel's properties home, i see the likelihood of Fox giving up the X-men and Sony giving up Spider-man as pretty grim... (i think there's a good chance we'll see some of the lower tier characters and the FF return home)
============ Just say "NO!" to $4 books. ============
The flashbacks and team Weapon X was the best part of the Wolverine movie but yeah they did drop the ball afterwards. I happen to like Sabertooth in this movie since you actually get to see a Wolverine vs Sabertooth feud while in X-Men 1 they act like they hardly recognized eachother and the feud between Wolverine and Sabertooth was supposed to go ways back

She's a very nice choice. Physically, at least. Her face doesn't quite convince me but it's acceptable. I mean, she's very pretty but I don't see Emma there. I'm not sure about her acting skills but it depends on how big her part will be.

This is excellent news! I wish she was Ms. Marvel...But oh well! She's playing Emma! She's a perfect choice!

Having Emma in it is good news. It means that the film might diverge quite a bit from the flawed “first class” concept. After all, Emma first appears about 20 years (I think) after the first X-Men comic was published. Now does Magneto have to be the villain? Perhaps Magneto can be an X-Men ally as the X-Men battle the Hellfire Club.
