Marvel has released an advance preview of "Amazing Spider-Man" #638, the first chapter of "One Moment In Time" by Joe Quesada and Paolo Rivera, featuring the untold tale of the wedding of Peter Parker and MJ.

Goodness, that's a gorgeous cover! Makes me miss Spider-Man wearing the black costume all the more.

i wouldnt go that far.... its mj's face thats off. (though thats my opinion). Peter and the rest of the backgrounds seem fine.

One of the many, MANY reasons OMD sucked worst than a virgin on prom night was because of Joe Q's artwork.

It hasn't improved. Its even worse now that it's coming after Michael Lark's superlative pencils.

I've always been a fan of Quesada's style, though I'm jonsing to see what Rivera's work will look like.

Not to me

I don't follow this guys work regularly BUT he's not really impressing me all that much with the way he draws faces here.

Didn't realize this was Quesada. I don't think I had too many problems with his art contributions in OMD BUT I'd have to go back and give it a look over to see.

Damn,is just a unlettered preview.I was interested to know some details about this story,by the other side its good to not be spoiled about the story.

I think just the first page will have revealed straight way what Mary Jane whispered to Mephisto!Talk about moving forward the story!!

The design of Peter Parker and Mary Jane looked decent,all though is how well the scenarios are well illustrated that make those some interesting pages visually speaking.This being lettered will make a interesting read i guess.

Will be interesting to see Paolo Rivera take in this story as well.
Maybe Paolo Rivera scenes will be set in the past of Spider-Man stories which makes sense due to his more painted art style and Joe Quesada is doing the scenes of the Present?

And that cover is great indeed,covers with Spider-Man in his black costume are prone to be cool covers but that one there is well illustrated all around.
