Pike, you are engaging in unacceptable conduct on this thread including insulting fellow posters, warping of scans, making claims that are contradicted by the source material, and ignoring observations of such, to the point it is problematic to the debate.

Cease posting on this thread immediately. It is also noted you have a tendency to such conduct when the character Thor is involved. Be aware that your participation in future threads involving the character continue to be problematic you may be forbidden to post about Thor at all on Rumbles.

As for the matter of Thor's mental resistance, portrayals of his resistance level in abnormal mental states such as Warriors Madness does not necessarily translate to baseline resistance capacity.

I would just say that thor has some TP resistance (that is how I read it). I am not sure how good it is or not. Thor can be a bit over the map in terms of powers and such, of course so can just about any character. Thank Pendarian for the scans, it has been quite a while since i've read my IC.

Goddess said that his asgaurdian spirit made it difficult to control him. She didn't say impossible. That implies that she has difficulty with baseline Thor. That is the feat that ought to be argued since it would be baseline for Thor since he always has his asgaurdian spirit, mad, insane or walking in the park. Whatever.

The part that allowed him to break free was his insanity. That means that was the only extra bit that allowed him to ignore her commands. Under normal circumstances, thor would not have been able to break free.

The ambiguity that comes in is how much did the insanity help him in breaking free. Was the Goddess barely holding on to her control by her fingernails with baseline asgaurdian spirit Thor, or did she have a fairly firm grasp? Also, (i'm not sure if it was mentioned or not) did the mind control itself drive him crazy? If it did then it might be safe to assume that it would be a bad idea for MM to do mind control/fry on Thor in that it would only serve to amp him up.

In terms of this fight, I think that it would be safe to assume that MM wouldn't be able to flash fry Thor's brain that fast. However, MM might have more luck with his teammates in which case it could turn into a five on one. At the very least a three on one.

I reserve the right to be wrong.

Aside from the Infinity Crusade and Blood and Thunder feats Thor has other TP resistance feats under his belt.

Doesn't change the fact his side are outgunned in the speed dept

No, that was the result of Odin having grafted Don Blake onto Thor. Scans provided in thread and references made to.

If it did then it might be safe to assume that it would be a bad idea for MM to do mind control/fry on Thor in that it would only serve to amp him up.
No, J'onn can screw with his brain just fine.

In terms of this fight, I think that it would be safe to assume that MM wouldn't be able to flash fry Thor's brain that fast.
I wouldn't especially assume that, J'onn's decently on par with the telepaths who have played Thor's brain like a bongo drum.

It was not my intention to imply that Moondragon is a weak telepath. However Martian Manhunter is a top-tier telepath in DC himself. Ergo, it stands to reason his telepathy would be able to affect Thor.

As for Fernus phasing Superman into a table...I hadn't recalled that, but much like "Warrior Madness" Thor I don't think we can accept Fernus feats as typical Martian Manhunter feats.

    Martian Manhunter solos, easily.
