I dug this series. Took a lil while to get into the style, but once I was in, I was in. Very fun watch. Hope they eventually show it on TV and we could maybe get a follow up with a bigger budget.

In a lot of ways though, it was almost more a motion comic than a cartoon. So I'm not that shocked that it's getting similar treatment to their other motion comics, which went on itunes rather than tv.

And who knows, it might still find it's way on TV somewhere.

Watched it on YouTube. It's a Glorified Motion Comic. And the acting is pretty terrible.

    I'll be skipping it.

Was it really that bad? Unfortunately it was taken off youtube before I could see it. Which sucks btw.

Dondi Reese? So they kept the whole Bush Administration satire from Hudlin's first arc? Kinda dates it, no?

It was fairly close to Hudlins first Black Panther story arc. If you liked that story, you'll probably like this. It's basically a motion comic version of that (with a few changes here and there).

I thought the voice acting was pretty good (with the exception of Captain America).

But if you didn't like Hudlins first BP arc, or you're just not a fan of motion comics in general then this probably isn't something you need to go out of your way to see.

Speaking of someone who wasn't a fan of Hudlin's writing until Deadliest of the Species and Flags of Our Father, I liked this very much. I thought it worked for the moving pictures. There were some flaws, but overall was satisfied.

I had showed it to many of my friends and family, many who don't know much about the character and they all dug the hell out of it and would keep asking for the next episodes. They were disappointed when I told them there was only 6 episodes produced when it ended.

Same...and I agree. Everything time I read Priest stuff...I look down on Huldin's stuff...but really...I doubt many would have been able to live up to that.

wait, this didn't end up being a true animated series? that's so lame.

(motion comics just do nothing for me)

I've seen them all but will definitely be watching this when it airs. Hopefully if the ratings do well they'll greenlight another season, maybe with art reminiscent JRjr but with more of a traditional animated look. I think the MotionComic art may hurt the series a little bit but there's no way to tell for sure until we see the numbers.
