Funny, I was thinking about this movie the other day. I saw it as a kid (on TV) and while I enjoyed most 50's SF movies for their goofiness, this one is genuinely scary. Today it probably would just get "MST3K"-ed, but it was meant to be taken straight by its original audiences. So I'm glad that this comic adaptation both updates the story yet also takes it seriously.

Thanks for the interest, guys. I hope you do check out the series, as it was a lot of fun to write. And yes, I definitely treat it seriously (i.e. not MST3K) but also tried to make it fun and adventurous.
