The Decepticon campaign is far too short and while the story was higher in quality than other Transformers media outings like the movie and post Beast Wars TV shows, it felt very scripted and almost too predictable.
The continuity apparently is the bible for future Transformers shows like Transformers Prime. Even though the character designs for guys like Bumblebee differ wildly between the Prime TV show and War for Cybertron.

I want these guys to make a transformers MMO!
The game totally goes back to the nostalgic 80's transformers, and the game really is everything I expected it to be. Its a great start, and I expect part 2 to work out the kinks and make the game really rock.
My only problem with it is that some of the guns seem to have very little ammo and since you use the left analog for moving around and pressing it makes you transform sometimes I transform when I dont want to, but that doesnt cause too much trouble.

I just finished the campaign of this game today and I have to admit; it was really rather good.
The main drawback, which is entirely my fault, is that my four year old desktop machine won't run it properly ... which left me playing it on my new laptop. Playing on a laptop is never as good as on a desktop, sadly.
Still the missions were well paced and designed. Graphically, it looked beautiful.
