Wow. I don't care much for Megan Fox but that was a very professional reply to a tricky question. Pretty classy; I've loved Power Girl so I think I'll check out Hex now....Transformers backlash? Is there such a thing? Let's be honest, who really cares who the girl is in "Transformers 3?" I think almost any beautiful person in the entertainment business has the public pick on them at one point or another. I also think it's just stupid to pan anything you haven't seen yet, but of all of Megan's roles, this one is her biggest to date as far as screen time and playing with the big boys. I met her at Comic-Con [International], she was super nice to me, we spoke about the role and that was it. I personally don't care how beautiful she is, all I care about is how she will be in that part -- a very important part, I might add, in the big picture of things. I am not in the school of basing my like or dislike of a person based on what others say, so yeah, I think not only will she be good in this movie, but she has the chops and is still growing as an actor. I would hire her to play a character of mine any day.
I don't understand the comments that a traditional western would have failed? I love Jonah Hex and Ill go see it, but all my non-comic fan friends think it just looks cheesy and have no interest.
Mind you I am a fan of westerns, so if Jonah Hex can beat 3:10 to Yuma box office I will shut up and say they were right...like it matters what I think :)

I think the whole supernatural and Wild Wild West gadget aspect is both overdone and unneeded. Yet if Brolin can nail Hex's character, I would endure those oddities to see Hex on screen.

We are interviewing Jimmy Palmiotti on Where Monsters Dwell (internet radio - wheremonstersdwell.ca) on the 23rd of June. We'll be doing a Jonah Hex review and wrap up. It's a call in show, so if you've got questions you can ask the man directly.
