That's Bullseye killing DD.
Then he is going to Hell and fight the real devil then be revived and he will become more kick butt.
Actually, he tried to kill Bullseye way back in Daredevil 181. He admitted it in a later issue...maybe 200? I forget.Man though, Matt has come a long way. He was probably more anal than Steve Rogers about killing.
Regardless, I've given up thinking Bullseye will ever actually die and be dead for good.
I think there should be a rainbow in the background to accentuate the new brave bold direction DD is going.
Not all too shocking an image considering all the hints dropped over the last few months. At this point I'll be more surprised if Bullseye doesn't die in issue #1. Either way, though, he'll be back.
Also, Matt killed Nuke's helicopter pilot in Daredevil #233. He's not above killing should the situation call for it, although I think the biggest difference here is it looks like he'll be killing Bullseye when there are other options readily available.

So does the first issue end with Matt getting the key to the city or something?
I know Kevin Nichols through a guy that knows a gal. Small world!
If nihilism didn't take some delight in destruction one might suspect nihilists were an unnaturally morbid sort.

whoa! would be intense. Not that ol' Bulls doesn't deserve it. On the other hand, he's been through a lotta ---- in the last few years, what with his (second) paralysis and now this...
This is too much of a give-away. I'm guessing Bullseye won't die -- but maybe someone wearing his costume will....
Then again, maybe it's SO much of a give-away that we're expected to believe it won't happen, when in reality (er, comics), it WILL. Or something like that.
Yeah, Bullseye deserves it, but I've really warmed up to him lately.
